Authenteo is JSEE web application. You can download a trial version of Authenteo to run on your own application server to try out and for development. Contact us about purchasing Authenteo for commercial usage and hosting. Authenteo has been tested on Tomcat 5.5, but should work on any standard J2EE application server that supports Java 5.0 or higher.

To setup Authenteo in your application server, follow these steps:

1. Download authenteo.zip file
2. Create a webapp directory
3. Unzip the authenteo.zip into the webapp directory
4. Restart your application server.
5. Navigate to the URL for the new webapp to verify that it is running
6. Nagivate to /edit (http://yourserver/webapp/edit) and create a new account. This new account will be supervisor (superuser) for the system. The first user who creates a user account in the new Authenteo installation gets supervisor priviledge, so make sure you do this step right after installation.
7. From here you can manage your website just as you would with an online account. You can click on the help icon in edit mode to learn more about using Authenteo.
